9月11日，广东珠海，天捷CHINAHEAVYLIFT 中国 SPMT（自行式液压平板车）完成了BP英国石油公司的二级反应脱水塔的运输。反应塔尺寸为 58.44m×8.6m×9.5m，重量高达663.4吨，从高栏港到BP公司，运输距离约为10公里。广东火电工程总公司使用了46轴线的天捷CHINAHEAVYLIFT中国SPMT，来完成这次超大超重的项目。整个过程持续约20小时，SPMT 平均速度为 0.5km/h。
使用SPMT来运输这个超大超重的二级反应塔，在规划以及设计线路上，都是极其困难的。整个项目组为此多次召开会议，最终敲定了安全与技术相结合的最优方案，使用天捷CHINAHEAVYLIFT SPMT。

On September 11, CHINAHEAVYLIFT-Tianjie Heavy Industries’SPMT Self-Propelled Modular Transporters completed the transportation project of the secondary dehydration Tower for BP chemical limited company in Zhuhai, Guangdong province, south China by GPEC. The dimensions of the secondary dehydration tower are 58.44m×8.6m×9.5m, the weight of the cargo was 663.4 tones. The whole journey was about 10 kilometers from Gaolan port to the BP Company. GPEC wisely chose the 46 axle lines CHINAHEAVYLIFT-Tianjie SPMT Self-Propelled Modular Transporters to overcome the restrictions of overall dimensions, overweight and saddle position. The transportation takes about 20 hours. The average speed of the CHINAHEAVYLIFT-Tianjie Heavy Industries SPMT is 0.5km/h.

It is extremely difficult to arrange the route for transporting this heavy gauge secondary dehydrating tower by SPMT Self-Propelled Modular Transporters. The project team held several meetings to finalize the safest, technology-combined solution and arranged the commissioning of the SPMT.

The successful transportation of the secondary dehydrating tower obtains accordant recognition by the BP owners and experts in GPEC. This project has proved that CHINAHEAVYLIFT-Tianjie Heavy Industries’ SPMT can do well in not only the normal onsite job, but also the complicated and sophisticated oversized transportation. CHINAHEAVYLIFT-Tianjie Heavy Industries and GPEC have also acquired valuable experience for the following HZMB project of 3500 tones transportation mission.
